The Eaton High School Marching Band

will always have a special place in my heart. As an alumna of Eaton High School, my time spent in the marching band went on to shape the rest of my life. I went on to graduate from Colorado State University with a degree in Music and have now found myself back at Eaton High School teaching percussion. Getting to work with these kids and being able to see the growth that the program has gone through since my freshman year in 2011 to now is incredible!

This past Monday, the band competed at the Colorado Northern Regional and took first place with a score of 76 - their highest score in history! As one of their instructors, I wanted to showcase all the hard work they've been putting in, so it was a lot of fun to sit back and take some photos of their performance. As of right now, they're sitting first across the entire state in the 2A division and in November, will go on to perform at the State Championships. I'm so ecstatic to be able to go along with them on this journey and there will definitely be more marching band photos to come!
