Andrew + Gabby

The pandemic has put a lot of stress on brides. Many are rescheduling their weddings to 2021 or getting creative and choosing to elope with a smaller number of guests.

I'm someone who wants a tiny, unconventional wedding. So when Gabby approached me with their idea about getting married on a house boat in the middle of Horsetooth Reservoir, I couldn't say no! Small, intimate ceremonies are usually a lot more laid back, and I'm always honored when my brides invite me to join their families during their special day.

One thing that Gabby said during her vows that really stuck out to me was "It seems like 2020 is the year we're all moving forward with our lives." Which feel so true! 2020 has been the year that we've had to take a look at ourselves and our lives and decide what we truly value. I've decided to stop putting my time and energy into things that don't serve and uplift me. It's definitely been the theme of this year to reevaluate and move forward.
