Fort Collins Lifestyle Magazine

For the March edition, Fort Collins Lifestyle Magazine's theme was 'architecture.' I love this theme! Architecture has been something that I've been interested in a long time and now that I'm saving to buy a house, I'm beginning to take notes of all the small details from each house I get to photograph.

Lifestyle Magazine sent me to two different houses designed by Lori and Danielle from Interior Design Concepts of Windsor, Colorado. It was so clear from the moment I stepped through the door that these two women knew the ins-and-outs of their craft and truly loved what they do. The care they put into styling each room with their props and flowers and the relationship they had with the homeowner was so refreshing to watch!

The first kitchen I photographed had beautiful counters, white cabinets and I'm loving the red accents in the chairs and appliances. The big windows let in the perfect amount of light! It was a cold winter day, but the warm colors in the curtains and lights made this kitchen feel so home-y.

The second house I photographed was just as beautiful. The way the kitchen opens up into a small living area makes it feel so inclusive, and I'm in love with the floating shelves and the bar seating area.

Lastly, this bathroom was amazing. The chandelier in the middle elevated the feel of the room, and look at that bath tub! Once again, there was so much natural window light to work with that really made it easy to photograph.
