Devin + Cody
The Saturday that we had planned to take Devin and Cody's engagement pictures, it had rained and rained and rained all day. I felt crazy looking out the window every 20 minutes, crossing my fingers hoping that it would stop. I had been messaging with Devin all day trying to find a solution. Should we reschedule? Should we power through and take them in the rain? Hello cute umbrella photos?! After having to reschedule these photos for a month because of the pandemic, Devin was determined to power through.
As soon as I arrived at Reservoir Ridge Natural Area in Fort Collins, Colorado, the rain stopped! It resulted in the most beautiful, dewey colors and vibrant, crazy clouds. Throughout the session, we had so much fun and the love between Devin and Cody was so clear. And of course as soon as we wrapped up the session, raindrops started pouring down on us.
