Sierra + Chad
There's definitely a beauty in simplicity. Don't get me wrong, maternity photos with towering mountain backdrops are stunning. But between the ever-changing Colorado weather and the uncertainty of how Sierra was going to feel throughout her pregnancy, it made more sense for us to book their maternity shoot at Sugarhill Studio in Longmont, Colorado.
And boy am I loving them! We had such a quiet, stress-free session in the private studio and the photos turned out stunning!
If you're getting your photos taken and are considering a studio session, here are some upsides:
- You won't have to worry about the weather - With our crazy Colorado weather, it can be 70 degrees and sunny out one day and a blizzard the next. Having your session in a studio eliminates that problem altogether.
- It's much more private - Are you self-conscious or uncomfortable with showing PDA? Studio sessions with only your photographer can ease that.
- Your photos will be different - Studio sessions have been long forgotten since the JCPenney photography studios went out of business. While most people are having their photos taken outside, you can have a plain, beautiful studio session that will stand out from the rest.
We also have a multitude of different studios here in Colorado! Each studio is styled differently, and most have changing sets depending on the season, so you can always find a gorgeous backdrop.
